It was another day of testimony in the George Zimmerman murder trial. On Tuesday lead investigator in the case Detective Chris Serino had part of his testimony stricken from the record by the prosecutor and Mark Osterman, a federal air marshal who described Zimmerman as his best friend may have helped the prosecution with his testimony.
Osterman wrote a book about the shooting and recounted one story about what Zimmerman told him about the events of Feb. 26, 2012. Osterman said that Zimmerman told him Trayvon Martin had grabbed his gun but that he managed to get it back. That story contradicted what Zimmerman’s told the police.
